Children who have been taught through positive discipline are more likely to be responsible, self-confident, and make good choices independently. Without discipline, children are more likely to lack self-control and social skills, and engage in harmful behaviours.
It is possible to raise your self-esteem and learn real-life ways to be assertive. Positive Parenting Strategies provides parenting ideas that allow your relationship with your child to grow and develop in a healthy way. This course is based on the premise that relationship is the foundation for parenting. We want you to help your child achieve their potential while still caring for yourself in the process.
To effectively communicate with your child you must first build a relationship with them. You also need an understanding of their brain development. After this, you can learn how to communicate with your child in more effective ways: listening to understand, having empathy, and being present.
