The role

The Family Centre is currently hiring a dynamic administrative support person to join our administrative team.  This position supports administrative functions for all service areas of the organization including day to day data entry, reporting, and small projects.

This is a full time position of 36.5 hours.

Qualifications

  • 2 Years Post-Secondary Education Preferred (Office Assistant; Administrative Assistant; Administrative Profession; Records Management; Business Administration)
  • 1 years’ experience in Administrative Support position
  • Proven experience with at least 2 of the following: advanced Microsoft Word/Excel, intermediate Adobe Acrobat DC, Google (suits, drives, docs, sheets), and general PowerPoint skills
  • Police Check and Child Welfare Intervention Record Check completed within the last 6 months

Key Responsibilities

  • Critical Incident (tracking and month end)
  • Process service and program intakes
  • Process timesheets (data entry)
  • File Audits

  • Feedback – a strong supervision model that provides regular formal and informal opportunities for feedback
  • Performance coaching – formal and informal coaching regarding the development of personal and professional growth and development

Compensation

  • The Family Centre is committed to employee wellbeing and development. The comprehensive compensation package offered to employees reflects those values and is competitive within the marketplace.
