Life’s challenges do not have to feel overwhelming

Stress. Anxiety. Depression. Parenting struggles. Relationship challenges. Grief.

At The Family Centre, we understand how these challenges can affect every part of your life. But with the proper support, these burdens can begin to ease. We’re here to help, one step at a time.

Feeling overwhelmed by Stress & Anxiety?

Stress and anxiety can show up in many ways- sleepless nights, constant worry, or feeling on edge. It’s OK to acknowledge how you are feeling, and it’s OK to seek help.

How we support you

Free Drop-In Counselling

Your first session is free and available online, over the phone, or in person. At some point in your life, you may be faced with an issue that you don’t know how to handle. Has anyone ever told you that it’s OK to ask for help?
Our mental health therapists can help you better understand your situation and support you to move successfully through it. We have experience with a broad range of issues, and our therapists are trained in helping people get through trauma.

Often, one session may be enough to help you think more clearly and work through your own solution when you are stuck. With a little support, you will build skills and perspectives to raise healthy children, build strong relationships, heal from trauma, and navigate through change.

You can also book an appointment online or by calling us at 780-423-2831.

Anxiety Therapy Group

Join a supportive, virtual 5-week group to share your experiences and learn tools to manage anxiety.

What our clients say

“Don't know where I'd be if I wasn't able to access their free drop-in counselling. The student counselor I got was stellar. She helped me so much. I felt much better and less urgent when I left versus when I came in. The front desk person was very kind and welcoming. Highly recommend this place. They also offer classes and other resources, check them out!”-Jane
