Do you know someone who is struggling with addictions? Addictions are not just about drugs, alcohol, or gambling; you can actually be addicted to anything. Some of us feel compelled to overeat, while others have the urge to binge-watch TV, shop, or spend countless hours on social media.
In this three-hour course on addiction, you will learn more about dependency and habits, how they impact our lives, and how to help someone with an addiction.
Who Can Attend?
Anyone over the age of 18 who is impacted by someone living with addiction.
How much does it cost?
Group workshop: $75 per person. Are you attending the class with someone, such as a family member, partner, or a friend? Additional participants pay only 50%.
Private session: $325
If you cannot afford the full cost, the group workshop is offered at no cost thanks to funding from the City of Edmonton Family and Community Support Services.
If you'd like to donate to The Family Centre in lieu of paying for the class, you can do so here. All donations go right back into covering the next person who cannot afford the full fee. Please add “Education Services” to the message field.
